MEECON has been established to focus on all forms of energy and insurance-related issues in the Middle East, and also to examine the issues and challenges that lie ahead as the region transitions to greener, cleaner forms of energy. However, that’s not all – MEECON also aims to promote diversity, inclusion and youth into its programme of speakers and organisers. It is certainly not a ‘pay to speak’ conference and all profits made within the not-for-profit platform will be re-invested into encouraging topics and speakers not normally heard at international insurance conferences and also to sponsor and help young talent to grow in the market.
